This product contains our blend of antioxidant Sorghum bicolor leaf extract along with immune system supporting Echinacea and astragalus root extracts. Other ingredients: gelatin (animal-derived), rice powder, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin (derived from corn). Guaranteed to contain no: sugar, starch, salt, soy, yeast, wheat, or milk. Our key ingredient, Jobelyn, is an extract of Sorghum bicolor. Using a traditional African folk preparation of the leaf sheath in its complete and natural state, it yields an incredible antioxidant extract. Its ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) rating exceeds that of grapeseed extract and even açai berries. Antioxidants can strengthen the immune system cells by protecting them from the free radical damage so common in day-to-day life.* In the Immune Support Formula, Jobelyn is complemented by two additional herbal ingredients:

Jobelyn is an extract from the leaf sheath of sorghum grown in Africa where it has a long history of use for promoting overall health and well-being. We call our sorghum extract “Jobelyn” after the River Jubi where it originally grew wild. Now domesticated, we harvest and craft the extract using a traditional African folk remedy preparation, which results in an ORAC rating that exceeds any modern laboratory preparations.

The ORAC rating is measure of an antioxidant’s capacity to absorb harmful free radicals. With an ORAC value of 3,123 per mg., Jobelyn is over three times stronger than açai berries. This makes Jobelyn exceedingly valuable for a wide range of health-promoting applications, including supporting overall immune system response.*

The high level of pigmented plant tannins in Jobelyn extract (the source of the antioxidant components) can result in a slight and temporary discoloration to your urine; this is normal and should not cause you any concern. You may also experience dry mouth when taking this and any other Jobelyn product. The high antioxidant value can lead to an increase in red blood cell production and overall blood volume in the body. This is actually a healthy side benefit, but it does result in your body requiring more liquids. Simply increase your overall water intake while taking Jobelyn products to avoid the possible side effect of dry mouth.

This product contains no soy, yeast, wheat, or milk. The capsule DOES contain a corn-derived ingredient. Some people are allergic to Echinacea and should not take this product. Allergies to the herbal ingredient Jobelyn are extremely rare, but do consult your health care provider if you are concerned.
